Lead Backend Engineer

Overview :
Sky2C is looking for an Lead Backend Engineer with expertise in NodeJS to lead our engineering team and drive high-impact projects. This role requires to also understand front-end application development end-to-end and involves managing a team of developers, guiding technical decision-making, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Requirements:- 

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency in NodeJS and related backend frameworks.
• Strong understanding of back-end development, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Know how of Frontend application development using react and next.js .
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.

Responsibilities:- 

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
• Drive project planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery of projects
•  Provide technical guidance and maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, and design
•  Collaborate with Product, Design, and other teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Drive execution to  achieve product delivery milestone.
•  Implement best practices to optimize development workflows, productivity, and code quality
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering team members
