Tech Lead - Bengaluru

Hands-on Technical Lead to architect and scale the core platform powering an AI-native healthcare system. High ownership role driving architecture, AI integration, secure infrastructure, and engineering excellence.

Requirements
• 8+ years total experience
• 6+ years as an SDE, including experience at a FAANG company or building a YC-backed startup
• Full-stack development with strong AI experience
• Experience building B2B products
• Experience building core AI or healthcare products
• Degree from a Top 5 IIT or NIT
• Onsite in Bangalore

Responsibilities
• Define service boundaries across documentation, coding, claims, and operational workflows
• Design event-driven systems capturing structured signals across the product
• Architect secure PHI-compliant infrastructure
• Establish data flow patterns between AI models and application services
• Productionize multi-model pipelines (ASR, LLMs, RAG, validation models)
• Design low-latency inference orchestration
• Build feedback loops for reinforcement learning and model evaluation
• Ensure deterministic system behavior around probabilistic models
• Define cloud architecture (AWS or equivalent)
• Implement encryption, audit logging, and compliance controls
• Design storage tiering strategies (hot DB vs cold storage)
• Establish observability (metrics, logging, tracing)
• Set coding standards and architectural principles
• Conduct design reviews and technical planning
• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence
• Make tradeoff decisions around build vs buy, managed vs self-hosted
