Tech Lead to own architecture, agent systems, and engineering team for an AI healthcare platform, driving production-grade agentic systems and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years engineering experience; 3+ years in tech leadership

• Experience at FAANG or top-tier product companies preferred

• Proven zero-to-one builder (architecture to production users)

• Strong distributed systems and system design expertise

• Backend strength: Python/Node.js, APIs, DB design, caching, debugging

• AI/ML knowledge: LLMs, multi-agent systems, prompt engineering, fine-tuning

• Experience translating research into production systems

• Experience hiring and scaling teams (5–20+ engineers)

• Strong communication: architecture docs, memos, leadership updates

• Startup or high-growth experience (preferred)

• Healthcare domain exposure: FHIR/HL7, EHR, HIPAA (preferred)

• Experience with agentic AI frameworks like LangGraph (preferred)

• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows

Responsibilities

• Design and scale AI healthcare platform using agentic frameworks and cloud infra

• Own technical roadmap, sprint planning, and architecture decisions

• Define inter-agent communication, schemas, and engineering standards

• Own end-to-end product architecture and delivery

• Build and mentor high-performance AI-first engineering team

• Drive engineering culture with leaderboards and structured reporting

• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security (HIPAA compliant)

• Define SLIs/SLOs and implement observability systems

• Lead compliance: HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2 readiness

• Manage production systems handling PHI with zero downtime
