Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

RadiusAI is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Bangalore office. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to support the operation, design, and deployment of our cutting-edge computer vision software, ensuring smooth functionality across thousands of remote locations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Python and Shell scripting.

• 3+ years of professional experience with Git CLI, branching strategies, release management, and merge conflict resolution.

• 3+ years of expertise in container orchestration and administration (e.g., K3S, AKS, Rancher, Docker).

• Strong knowledge of Ubuntu/Debian-based Linux distributions, including resolving network and filesystem issues.

• 3+ years of professional experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

• 2+ years of professional experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (preferably Azure) using Terraform, Pulumi, ARM, or Bicep.

• Working knowledge of DNS and associated troubleshooting tools.

Nice to Have:

• Strong OOP and software engineering experience in Python (Golang and Rust are a plus).

• Knowledge of Kafka and deploying observability stacks like ELK, Prometheus, or Jaeger.

• Experience querying relational and NoSQL databases.

• Expertise in configuring hardware firewalls (e.g., Sophos, Cisco, Fortinet).

• Skills in troubleshooting VPNs, SSH tunnels, and Cloudflare Warp.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior engineer, owning tasks end-to-end with minimal supervision.

• Balance operational tasks and development-focused work using Kanban boards.

• Guide and support team members with software development and design insights.

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot code while debugging networking and software issues in Linux environments.

• Manage infrastructure and patching for Data Science tools such as Dkube and CVAT.

• Collaborate through video meetings during US daytime hours.

• Respond to escalations related to automation or system administration from other teams.
