Senior React Native Engineer - Bangalore

Mave Health is hiring a Senior React Native Engineer to own mobile development and build web tools in a fast-growing health-tech startup.

Requirements
• 3–5+ years of frontend/mobile experience
• Expert in React Native with at least one live app on iOS and Android
• Experience with Expo, including plugins and prebuild workflows
• Strong UI/UX skills with ability to implement Figma designs
• Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and state management
• Skilled in debugging and performance optimization
• Startup experience or comfort with fast-paced environments

Nice to have
• Experience with push notifications on iOS and Android
• Familiarity with native development (Swift/Kotlin)
• Worked on real-time chat or WebRTC video features
• Exposure to backend (Node.js, Firebase, etc.)

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Mave’s mobile app using React Native and Expo
• Ensure performance and smooth UX across iOS and Android
• Collaborate with design and backend teams for seamless UI/API integration
• Build internal tools and dashboards using React
• Implement real-time features via RESTful and WebSocket APIs
• Stay updated with mobile dev trends and best practices
