Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SDET/Automation Engineering

• Strong coding skills in TypeScript and/or Python; Java/C# is a plus

• Expert hands-on experience with Playwright

• Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and design patterns

• Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, REST/SOAP

• Experience with performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or k6

• Strong CI/CD experience with Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions

• Experience with Docker and microservices testing

• Familiarity with Jira, TestLink, and BDD using Cucumber/SpecFlow

• Experience defining automation coverage, quality KPIs, and quality gates

• Strong debugging, RCA, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/Python

• Define automation strategy, test coverage, quality KPIs, and quality gates

• Mentor SDETs and drive automation best practices

• Build API, contract, and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, and shift-left quality practices

• Partner with Engineering and DevOps teams to improve testability and test infrastructure

• Execute testing across web, mobile apps, APIs, and backend services

• Drive release quality across a cloud-native, microservices environment

• Use AI-assisted test generation, maintenance, and test-data synthesis

• Use AI copilots for Playwright/TypeScript development and code reviews

• Explore LLM-based validation, failure triage, and AI testing approaches
