Senior Fullstack Engineer - Python & Django

 Overview  

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Development Engineer to lead the backend development of applications within the GRIDsentry suite of products. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable systems, developing robust APIs, and optimizing database performance. As part of our team, you will ensure the delivery of highquality, maintainable solutions while collaborating with crossfunctional teams to meet user needs and business goals.  

 Requirements  

•  5+ years of handson experience in backend development with Django, Python, and Django REST Framework.  
•  Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, with strong understanding of ORM tools.  
•  Experience with containerization tools like Docker and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.  
•  Knowledge of caching strategies using tools like Redis or Memcached.  
•  Solid understanding of web application security practices and performance optimization.  
•  Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.  
•  Strong problemsolving skills, technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.  

 Responsibilities  

•  Develop and maintain backend applications using Django and Django REST Framework.  
•  Design and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure scalability and efficiency.  
•  Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs for seamless frontendbackend integration.  
•  Implement caching mechanisms to improve application performance and reliability.  
•  Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices.  
•  Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver highquality solutions.  
•  Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.  

 Interview Process  

1. Technical Round 1: Focused on backend fundamentals, Django, Python, database design, and APIs.  

2. Technical Round 2: Covers system design, performance optimization, and caching strategies.  

3. Final Technical Round: Focused on highlevel design (HLD), lowlevel design (LLD), and CI/CD pipelines.
