QA Automation Engineer

Commotion is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and the Cucumber framework for our enterprise SaaS applications.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with the Cucumber framework.

• 2-4 years of experience in automation testing.

• 2-4 years of experience writing custom test scripts in Java.

• Experience with automation tools like Selenium.

• Understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Experience with API and microservices testing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and Git.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of security testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Cucumber.

• Identify edge cases and ensure application reliability.

• Maintain automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

• Report and document defects with root cause analysis.

• Ensure high test coverage for all features.
