Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

• Strong experience managing large-scale infrastructure systems

• Deep understanding of software reliability and distributed systems

• Proficiency in at least one programming language

• Experience building internal platforms (infra or business platforms)

• Strong knowledge of observability, telemetry, and incident management

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Envoy)

• Expertise in containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad)

• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and scaling practices

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, AWS CDK)

• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef)

• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and virtualization

• Ability to adapt across technologies and roles

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage infrastructure platforms to improve developer experience

• Review RFCs and provide technical feedback

• Lead technical discussions with clients and internal teams

• Mentor engineers through pairing sessions and knowledge sharing

• Implement observability, alerting, and incident response practices

• Conduct incident management drills and improve system reliability

• Use Agile and Lean methodologies for project delivery

• Document technical solutions and best practices

• Drive alignment via workshops and incorporate user feedback

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
