Requirements

5+ years experience as Backend / Systems / Platform Engineer
Must been a founding engineer previously or seen 0-1 single journey
Strong experience building and scaling distributed systems in production
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
Strong knowledge of streaming and messaging systems like Kafka
Experience building Big Data pipelines using Spark or similar tools
Experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and performance tuning

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, distributed backend systems and data pipelines
Own platform architecture across compute, storage, streaming, and orchestration
Develop cloud-native services using Kubernetes and microservices patterns
Build and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines
Improve reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency
Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers
Own services end-to-end from design to production stability
