Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a software or frontend engineer

• Strong experience with WebAssembly/WASM (ABI boundaries, memory models, host interfaces)

• Deep knowledge of browser platforms (Workers, messaging, storage, isolation)

• Expertise in runtime engineering (event loops, concurrency, streaming I/O)

• Proven performance engineering experience with measurable outcomes

• Solid understanding of security for running untrusted code in-browser

• Demonstrated ability to build and ship complex production systems

Responsibilities

• Implement Node-like execution model including task orchestration and streaming I/O

• Optimize filesystem, tooling, and runtime performance using profiling and budgets

• Design isolation boundaries, resource limits, and safe APIs

• Build and ship reliable, production-grade runtime features across browsers
