Engineering Manager - Mumbai

Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering with leadership experience managing engineering teams
• Currently working as an Engineering Manager or Team Lead in a product-based organization
• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and NodeJS
• C# experience preferred
• Language agnostic mindset with ability to work across technologies
• Proven experience leading and mentoring software engineers
• Experience managing large-scale product or platform initiatives
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and scalable architectures
• Ability to balance technical leadership with people management responsibilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable collaborating with globally distributed teams
• Experience driving AI/ML-based automation initiatives is a plus
• Comfortable working from office 4 days a week

Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team building sports technology products and workflows
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Design, and Scrum teams across regions and time zones
• Drive technical architecture, engineering execution, and delivery planning
• Mentor engineers, support career growth, and build a strong engineering culture
• Improve analyst training tools and operational workflows for efficiency and accuracy
• Contribute to automation and AI/ML initiatives to scale operations and reduce manual effort
• Own technical decisions and solve complex business and engineering challenges
• Balance hands-on technical contributions with people leadership responsibilities
• Ensure engineering quality, scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence
