Engineering Lead - Pune

We are hiring an Engineering Lead to drive software product strategy, execution, and team development at Copods.

Requirements
• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Proven experience in building scalable B2B/B2C software products
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern JS frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
• Strong backend experience with Python (Django/FastAPI) or Node.js
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with HTML5/CSS3, responsive UI, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis
• Familiar with microservices architecture and agile methodologies (SCRUM, AGILE)
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and team leadership skills
• Experience with code versioning tools like Git
• Passion for continuous learning, research, and technology leadership

Responsibilities
• Lead and contribute to architecture, automation, and product implementation
• Mentor engineers and scale the team through recruitment and development
• Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business, product, and user goals
• Drive innovation through PoCs, research, and technology exploration
• Deliver high-quality software for desktop, web, and mobile platforms
• Ensure performance, scalability, and best practices in product delivery
• Represent engineering impact through clear communication and documentation

Location: Pune
Work Type: Work from office, 5 days a week
