Engineering Manager - Meesho

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead high-performing teams, drive innovation, and ensure the scalability of our engineering solutions. You will manage projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and foster a strong engineering culture.

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in software development.

• 2+ years of experience managing software development teams of 3 to 4 engineers.

• Strong expertise in Java/Python and multithreading.

• Experience in transactional & NoSQL databases.

• Deep understanding of messaging systems (Kafka).

• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).

• Experience in scalable and distributed systems.

• Ability to drive sprints and OKRs effectively.

• Strong team management and collaboration skills.

• Nice to have: Experience with data pipelines, and Elasticsearch (ES).
  

Responsibilities

• Design tasks and oversee engineering projects following company guidelines.

• Conduct performance evaluations and foster a feedback-driven culture.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution.

• Collaborate with sales and design teams to drive product innovation.

• Manage engineers and ensure the scalability of solutions.

• Lead meetings and develop progress reports on projects.
