Embedded Engineer (Firmware and Python programming)

Future OS is seeking an experienced and motivated Embedded Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The role involves developing and maintaining embedded systems for AI-driven waste sorting solutions, integrating hardware and optimizing AI algorithms for industrial automation applications.

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded/firmware systems development
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi)
  • Experience in designing and debugging electronic circuits
  • Familiarity with industrial automation systems
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages
  • Knowledge of embedded operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux)
  • Expertise in communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning, with experience deploying models on embedded systems
  • Familiarity with industrial automation protocols (e.g., PLC, SCADA, Modbus)
• Tools:
  • Proficient with development tools like GCC, Keil
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with hardware design tools like Altium Designer

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
  • Develop and implement software for embedded systems from concept to production
  • Design, code, test, and debug system software
• Hardware Integration:
  • Integrate and validate new product designs
  • Support hardware component and circuit design for seamless system integration
• AI Implementation:
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate machine learning models into embedded systems
  • Optimize AI algorithms for low-power, resource-constrained devices
• Industrial Automation:
  • Apply knowledge of industrial automation systems to enhance AI waste sorting solutions
  • Implement control systems to improve sorting efficiency and reliability
• Prototyping and Testing:
  • Rapidly develop prototypes and conduct performance validation tests
• Maintenance and Documentation:
  • Maintain technical documentation and provide troubleshooting support for deployed systems

Job Details:

• Location: Al Wasl Avenue - Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• Visa sponsorship, annual flight fare, medical insurance, and annual leave provided
• Candidates must relocate to Dubai and work from the office
